Wacken Open Air 2024: Line-up and main stages running order
There is just over a month left until the metal festival par excellence celebrates its new edition with a lineup that, as usual, brings together the best of the scene in four days of true madness, Wacken Open Air. The organization continues to work hard on its work within the festival and has recently confirmed the schedules for performances on the three main stages: Harder, Louder and Faster. The 33rd edition of W.O.A. will once again take place in the town of Wacken from July 31 until August 3, 2024.

Tina Guo, Growling Creatures, Hämatom and Anneke van Giersbergen are the latest additions to the new edition of the German festival on the main stages. Recently, the ten finalist bands were confirmed out of a total of thirty bands participating in the Metal Battle contest that will fight for a place on the final poster. The finalist bands are the following: Etterna (Slovakia), Voidwomb (Portugal), Turbowitch (Hungary), Doomsday Astronaut (Romania and Rep. Moldova), Junkwolvz (Greece), Tessia (Norway), Aquilla (Poland), Five Penalties (China), Beguiler (Canada) and Poseydon (Belgium).

Ever dreamed about shooting photographs at Wacken Open Air? Dream no more because the third edition of the Wacken Open Air Photography Masterclass is now open for submissions! The festival is looking for talented photographers who want to be part of this amazing experience. Wacken Open Air will empower six selected English-speaking photographers by facilitating the development of their visual mastery in music, event and festival photography led by NOOR author Pep Bonet.
