Wolves In The Throne Room announce European 2024 Tour with Gaerea and Mortiferum

Wolves In The Throne Room are joined by Gaerea and Mortiferum for the upcoming European tour during May and June.

The atmospheric black metal band Wolves In The Throne Room based in Olympia (Washington) since 2002 has recently announced the European dates of the Crypt Of Ancestral Knowledge 2024 European Tour together with the Portuguese black metal band Gaerea and the American death/doom act Mortiferum. During May and June they will be touring much of Europe presenting songs from their most recent album to date, the Crypt Of Ancestral Knowledge EP, which went on sale in September 2023 through Relapse Records.

Wolves In The Throne Room is currently formed by drummer/vocalist Aaron Weaver and vocalists/guitarists Nathan Weaver and Kody Keyworth. Crypt Of Ancestral Knowledge, their latest studio effort, is an EP composed of four new songs whose duration does not exceed the 20 minutes duration, released through Relapse Records in conjunction with Artemisia Records. This EP is produced, mixed and mastered by Cedar Serpent and has a spectacular cover by graphic artist Jacob Speis.

The Portuguese black metal band Gaerea released their third and final studio album Mirage in September 2022 under the Season Of Mist label. They are currently working on their new album that will be released at the end of the year through the same label, from which we have already heard the singles Salve, Mirage, Mantle, Laude and Dormant.

The death/doom band Mortiferum, born in Olympia (Washington) during 2016, is made up of bassist T. Wolfe, vocalist and guitarist M. Bowman, guitarist C. Slaker and drummer M. Bowman. Since their formation, they have released two studio albums: 2019’s Disgorged From Psychotic Depths and Preserved In Torment from 2021, both released via Profound Lore Records.

Gaerea will also offer four concerts in Spain during the month of February 2024 accompanied by their namesakes ANZV in what has been called Spain Under The Vortex tour 2024 whose dates you can see below:
