Uprising releases the single “Eternal Mantra”, new studio album in July
The German black metal project Uprising has recently released their new single Eternal Mantra, a song that opens their long-awaited third studio album that will go on sale on July 19 through the German label AOP Records. Uprising was born in 2014 in Munich by the multi-instrumentalist Winterherz (Waldgeflüster, Scarcross).

Uprising‘s new album is simply titled III and features Austin Lunn (Seidr, Panopticon) on drums. III is composed of six new songs as well as a cover of Ten Ton Hammer, originally performed by Machine Head. The album has been recorded and mixed by Winterherz himself while Markus Stock has been in charge of its mastering. The cover is the work of German illustrator Chris Kiesling (Misanthropic-Art) who has also given life to album covers such as Return Of The Witchfinder by Attic, Bovine Mockeries Of Human Posturing by Wrektomb or Draped In The Shade Of Luciferian Light by Fullmoon Rite in 2024, among many others.
