Profane Burial releases the video for “My Plateau” song
Atmospheric black metal band Profane Burial releases a preview of their long-awaited second album.
Crime Records has recently announced that the Norwegian cinematic black metal band Profane Burial is working on the publication of their new studio album My Plateau which will be released on March 1, 2024. The band formed in Kråkstad (Viken) in 2013 he released his debut album The Rosewater Park Legend in 2018 through the Apathy Records label in a limited edition of only 500 units.
Their second studio album My Plateau was mixed & mastered by Børge Finstad at Toproom Studio, the cover artwork was created by Sondre Tajet Søbyskogen. Profane Burial presents an atmospheric, dismal, and grim journey through unsanctified cinematic black metal, a sub-genre often featuring atmospheric and symphonic elements, drawing inspiration from film scores and other forms of orchestral music.
To promote the release of their long-awaited second album, the band has published the video clip of the song that gives the album its title, My Plateau, which you can see below:
Profane Burial currently consists of Kjetil Ytterhus on vocals and keyboards, André Aaslie on guitar, bass and keyboards and Bjørn Dugstad Rønnow on drums.
