Phantom Excaliver: 2024 tour dates confirmed

The Japanese band Phantom Excaliver have been practicing a mix of melodic death with overtones of power and classic heavy metal since their formation in 2011, then known as Phantom X. In 2013 they decided to change their name to Phantom Excaliver to prepare their debut album titled 鋼鉄の誓い which is released under the Ritual Records label.

In 2017 they returned to the studio to give life to 幻の聖剣, their second album that this time was released on the Insulin Records label. The band has continued working on their music since then, although to date they have only released six new singles and a collaboration with the Japanese power metal band Illusion Force whose title is Illusion Excaliver.

These are the confirmed dates in which Phantom Excaliver will be performing in 2024:

January 21 – PALOOZA 15th. Anniversary オモロックコロシアム
February 18 – 狂動戦線 (新宿ANTIKNOCK, Shinjuku)
February 24 – LIGHTNING＆THUNDER 2024 (Palooza, Kashiwa)
March 27 – 新春ハイパーウェンズデーGIG (大塚Deepa, Minamiotsuka)
June 20 – Rock Imperium Festival (Cartagena, Spain)

Palooza 15th. Anniversary line-up consists of THE冠 (The Kanmuri), セックスマシーン！！ (Sex machine!!), 肉球ポコポコ団 (Paw Pokopoko Team), 花団 (Flower Troupe), 仮面女子 (Mask Girls), アシュラシンドローム (Asura Syndrome), THE 南無ズ (THE Namuzu) and ビレッジマンズストア (Village Man’s Store).

Phantom Excaliver’s performance at the Rock Imperium Festival (Spain) will be the first time the band performs outside of Japan except for their time at the Wacken Open Air festival in 2023, the band’s first foray outside the land of the sun nascent. Phantom Excaliver will be sharing the bill in Spain with Judas Priest, Extreme, Carcass, Emperor, Yngwie Malmsteen, Saxon and Accept among others.
