Liar Thief Bandit are back with their brand new song “Death Pioneer”.

Liar Thief Bandit, the high energy band from Malmö (Sweden), has recently released their new single Death Pioneer, a song taken from what will be their fourth studio album, which is scheduled to be released in spring 2024.

Liar Thief Bandit debuted in 2016 with the notable album Gun Shovel Alibi (BLW Produktion, Sailors Overdrive Records) with which they became known throughout Europe, although it was not until the release of their second album Straight Ahead (2018, 7Hard). that the band took off with its combination of ’70s tunes and late ’90s garage rock. In 2021 they released their third and final album to date, Deadlights (The Sign Records), our favorite to date.

In 2022 they released the EP Diamonds consisting of six new songs and the cover Ain’t Fit To Live Here originally recorded by Graveyard. Last year they also performed at the prestigious Sweden Rock festival and the band is already ready to surprise us again with their long-awaited fourth album Icon, set to be released later this spring on The Sign Records. The band consists of Mike Jacobson on vocals and guitar, Niklas Dahre on bass and William Grube on drums.

The band has done over 200 shows touring mainland Europe, the UK and Spain over the last couple of years including support shows for The Bronx, Supersuckers, Hank von Hell, Electric Six, Valiant Thorr among others. A support tour in Sweden with Royal Republic (Live Nation) in 2022 as well as support shows for The Hellacopters and Graveyard count as the latest, biggest achievements. After a visit at Malmö’s Studio Sickan in the fall of 2023 their fourth full-length album is set to be released in the first half of 2024.
