Ihsahn releases his new single “The Distance Between Us”
The famous Norwegian musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist Ihsahn, an original member of Emperor since its founding in 1991 and a member of the God Of Atheists project, is preparing the release of his eighth solo studio album with the same title that will go on sale on February 16 via Candlelight Records.
To celebrate the release of his new album, Ihsahn has recently released the third and final preview of his new album titled The Distance Between Us, which joins the previously released singles Pilgrimage To Oblivion and Twice Born, both released in 2023. Ihsahn‘s new self-titled album is made up of eleven studio songs whose total duration will be 48 minutes. The album was mixed by Jens Bogren (Amorphis, Enslaved, Katatonia) and mixed by Tony Lindgren (Audrey Horne, Cryptosis, Elvenking), and is also produced by Ihsahn himself. The cover is the work of artist Ritxi Ostáriz who has been in charge of all of Ihsahn‘s artworks since his second album angL (2008, Mnemosyne Productions).
