The Portuguese black metal band Gaerea has recently released their new single World Ablaze, a song that is also accompanied by a music video created by Grupa 13 that you can see below:

In the words of Gaerea itself, World Ablaze tells the story of a man who has lived all his life inside a cage, knowing that one day, he’d be set free to experience the world with its true colors. Unfortunately, he also knows that day will be his last hours alive.

Worlds Ablaze brings together several fundamental aspects of human existence and explores themes such as hope and despair, a constant struggle between life and death that is reflected in its emotional lyrics and its dark and heavy musical compositions. This is the second single that the band has released since the release of their third studio album Mirage (2022, Season Of Mist), having released their previous song Dormant in September 2023.
