Fortress Festival 2025: Moonlight Sorcery, Akhlys, Selbst, Grift and Perennial Isolation confirmed for the next edition of the festival

The British festival Fortress Festival has recently revealed that the band of the melodic black metal band with symphonic overtones Midnight Sorcery will debut live in the United Kingdom at the next edition of the festival exclusively. This new confirmation adds to the latest confirmations from the Fortress Festival after having recently revealed that Akhlys, Selbst, Grift and Perennial Isolation will be performing in Scarborough exclusively in 2025.

“The slumber in frost and cold is over. We are honoured to perform at Fortress Festival as our first international show and we are looking forward to sharing this moment with the audience. It is time to present our Majestic Symphonies of the Nightside!“, this is how Moonlight Sorcery celebrated its confirmation at the Fortress Festival where they will be presenting their spectacular debut album Horned Lord Of The Thorned Castle, which went on sale in September 2023 through Avantgarde Music.

The festival will take place in Scarborough Spa during May 31 and June 1, 2025, with the following bands having been confirmed to date: Agalloch (2025 European Exclusive), RUÏM (UK Debut & 2025 Exclusive), Ulcerate (2025 UK Exclusive), Forteresse (2025 UK Exclusive), The Great Old Ones (2025 UK Exclusive), Spirit Possession (2025 UK Exclusive), Perchta (UK Debut and Exclusive), Belore (UK Debut and Exclusive), Akhlys (2025 UK Exclusive ), Selbst (UK Debut and Exclusive), Grift (UK Exclusive – Full Album Set), Perennial Isolation (UK Debut and Exclusive – Full Album Set) and Moonlight Sorcery (2025 International Exclusive & UK Debut).

Fortress Festival tickets are now available through their official website, the price of tickets is £179.00. Physical tickets will be sent out via Royal Mail to UK buyers, tickets for people outside of the UK will be available to collect on entry at the festival. Shipping price includes booking fee.
