Darkest Hour releases their new single “Societal Bile”
Darkest Hour recently announced their tenth album Perpetual | Terminal, out February 23rd.
Washington, D.C. melodic death metal/metalcore quintet Darkest Hour has recently released the single and video clip for his song Societal Bile, a single that is part of his recently announced new studio album titled Perpetual | Terminal that is scheduled to depart on February 23rd through MNRK Heavy.

The American band has been active since 1995 and has released nine albums to date. The most recent of these is 2017’s Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora, released through Southern Lord Recordings. The new Darkest Hour album will consist of eleven songs of which you can already hear the aforementioned Societal Bile and the song that opens the album itself, Perpetual Terminal, whose video clip you can find below these lines.
The band is currently made up of vocalist John Henry and guitarist Mike Schleibaum, its only two original members, as well as guitarist Nico Santora, bassist Aaron Deal and drummer Travis Orbin. Since their last studio album, they have also released two EPs: XXV (2020, Independent) and Payphones & Pills / Oklahoma 2022 (2022, Independent), as well as a live album titled Live In Lockdown (2020, Independent) and the compilation album The Covers Collection (2021, Independent).
