Dark Easter Metal Meeting 2024: Full line-up and information

The new edition of the Dark Easter Metal Meeting has now confirmed the whole line-up for their upcoming edition of the festival that would be celebrated in Backstage Munich (Bavaria, Germany) during 30th and 31 March 2024 and which will consist of 32 bands from 12 countries.

The 2024 edition has some surprises that will awaken the interest of attendees, such as the special show that Sodom has prepared performing only songs from the 80’s, the special set by Kampfar celebrating its 30th anniversary or the special show that Tiamat has prepared for commemorate its 35th anniversary. Mortem, Ciemra, Hellbutcher, Grand Cadaver and Thy Catafalque will perform for the first time in Germany within the iconic festival, another of the biggest attractions of the Dark Easter Metal Meeting 2024.

Tickets are already on sale and currently more than 66% of the total tickets available have been sold. The price of the two-day pass is €144.20 and can be purchased through the official Backstage website.

The “Freak Out Party” (Aftershow party) will take place backstage after the event on March 30, 2024. All visitors of the Dark Easter Metal Meeting 2024 have free entry. Children under 6 years of age are not allowed to attend the event, even if accompanied by a legal guardian. Children between the ages of 6 and 13 are only allowed to attend the event when accompanied by a legal guardian. Young people aged 14 and over are allowed to attend the event without being accompanied by a legal guardian. There is an absolute ban on alcohol for all young people under 16 years of age on the entire event site, as well as a ban on spirits for young people under 18 years of age. Beer and wine are served to young people aged 16 and over.

Food and drinks: Physical well-being is provided in the form of food (several backstage snack stands) and drinks (backstage bars). There are also two supermarkets in the immediate vicinity of the site, which will be open until 8 p.m. on March 30, 2024.

The Backstage cultural center is a Europe-wide renowned venue in Munich that is dedicated to the genre of alternative music. It is located on Friedenheimer Brücker in the Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district. The site includes the factory, the hall, the club and a beer garden.

There are very limited parking spaces behind the site in a paid parking lot. There is also very limited free roadside parking on Reitknechtstrasse and Birketweg to the east and in the residential area west of Friedenheimer Bridge. In general, you should allow some time to look for a parking space or arrive by public transport.
