Candlemass will be performing two tour dates in Japan

The famous epic doom metal band Candlemass, one of the most iconic bands of the genre based in Stockholm (Sweden), will be performing in Japan at the end of January offering two dates in Japanese territory where they will take their dark music presenting their most recent album to date, Sweet Evil Sun (Napalm Records).

These are the two dates that Candlemass will be performing in Japan:

January 25 – Club Quattro (Osaka)
January 26 – Club Quattro (Tokyo)

Candlemass currently consists of vocalist Johan Längquist, guitarists Mappe Björkman and Lars Johansson, vocalist Johan Längquist and drummer Jan Lindh. Since their formation in 1984, they have released thirteen studio albums to date, the most recent of which is Sweet Evil Sun, which was released in November 2022 through the band’s current label, Napalm Records.

Since the arrival of vocalist Johan Längquist in 2018, the band’s latest addition, Candlemass has released the albums The Door To Doom from 2019 and the aforementioned Sweet Evil Sun from 2022, in addition to the EP The Pendulum from 2020.
