Ataraxia releases fourth single “Coelestis” from upcoming album “Centaurea”
The Italian veterans of neoclassical and darkwave Ataraxia have recently released the single Coelestis, the fourth preview of their new album Centaurea that will be released on May 22, 2024 through The Circle Music and which you can listen to below:
“Coelestis is an awakening to new life, a symbolic shedding of blindness and a connection forged through dance“, says Ataraxia about their new song. “The video takes viewers on a journey to the island of Centaurea, where priestesses dance with the wind in their hair, their movements mirroring the harmonious grace of swimmers on a lake. White birds flutter like flames, and sunlight bathes the scene in an aura of serenity. Finally, a soul is freed, running barefoot towards a sacred wood and swimming amongst water lilies, a lotus flower blossoming with expanded consciousness“.
Ataraxia adds: “Coelestis’ is written in the lines of the hand, a journey taking us far away in the presence of the primaeval sun“. Coelistis is released shortly after they released their previous single Viriditas, a clear tribute to all their fans in Mexico and Latin America. Their new album Centaurea is part of the trilogy that the band already has planned and which began in 2022 with the release of their previous album, Pomegranate (The Circle Music).
Below you can listen to the singles The Source, Galen and Viriditas, three songs that are part of Centaurea that also have their respective music videos:
