Arthouse Fatso signs with Horror Pain Gore Death Productions, new album “Sycophantic Seizures: A Double Feature” on the way

Horror Pain Gore Death Productions are set to release the debut album from Germany’s cinematic deathgrinding act Arthouse Fatso. Their debut album Sycophantic Seizures: A Double Feature is up now for pre-order and will be released March 8th on CD and Digital formats along with merch and bundles.

Horror Pain Gore Death Productions welcome Arthouse Fatso to the roster with the debut album Sycophantic Seizures: A Double Feature. Hailing from Duisburg Germany, Arthouse Fatso began in early 2021 and was originally intended as a quick, low investment project… but soon became the Directors main artistic pursuit. Arthouse Fatso play vicious, experimental deathgrind fueled by anxiety and a dissatisfaction with capitalism and the current state of cinema. Similar to Orson Welles’ illustrious career, Arthouse Fatso thrive in the contrast between high and low brow, between the gutter and the art gallery.

Deathgrind with industrial influences, neoclassical soloing and an at times funky attitude, Arthouse Fatso might have their tongue planted firmly in their cheek, but you´d be remiss to take this as a joke project. Fatso are violent, intense and can at times be as disturbing as they are humorous – and have no time to stop pummeling. Sycophantic Seizures: A Double Feature presents 17 tracks of deathgrinding cinephiliac anxiety for fans of Terrorizer, Full of Hell, 7 H.Target, Macabre and Anaal Nathrakh.
